Komatipoort Compressor Station
The Komatipoort compressor station was
completed in 2010 with a design capacity of 136 MGJ/a. The compressor station was
the first phase of expansion of the MSP.
Loop Line 1
A 128 km parallel loop line was completed in 2014, to increase capacity on the Mozambican side. Loop Line 1 was the second phase of the MSP expansion.
Loop Line 2
In 2017, another 128 km parallel loop line was completed as a third phase of the pipeline expansion. Loop Line 2 was completed to enable more gas supply to the Mozambican markets.
